Australian International Elite Club celebrates its New Year Gala
On Friday 7 March 2025, more than 200 people attended the annual Australian International Elite Club gala at Chatswood’s Top Town restaurant and event centre. The event drew attendees from all backgrounds to support a worthy cause. The event successfully raised funds for Cancer Council through the sale of raffle tickets and a charity auction. Auction items were generously donated by club members and partners.
During the dinner, a cheque for AUD$8,000 was presented to Cancer Council NSW Ambassador Lisa Li, courtesy of Aspire Business Club Australia. Mr. Lan Wei, President of AIEC, addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude for the continued support and marking the sixth consecutive year of fundraising for Cancer Council NSW.
Australia International Elite Club chair, Unico Lan extended his heartfelt thanks to the event’s sponsors: ACY Securities, Winson Cao of the Club, Leanne Beck of Fancee Car, Aimee, Peggy, and Cindy of Lady Pamela Super Yacht Club, along with all other sponsoring partners. He also expressed appreciation to the volunteers, Premier Merchants Club members, and all those who supported the event on-site.

He emphasized the evening’s efforts to raise funds for Cancer Council through the charity auction and raffle ticket sales, aiming to make a meaningful contribution to both the charity and Australian society. He concluded by sending his best wishes to the ladies in attendance.
Throughout the dinner, Mr. Lan Wei, alongside the Executive Directors and Honorary Advisors of the Australian International Elite Club, took the opportunity to thank the guests for their participation and introduced them briefly.
Scott Yung, Liberal candidate for the seat of Bennelong in the upcoming federal election, spoke of the importance for Chinese voices to be heard in the federal parliament. Also at the event was state Member for Willoughby Tim James, shadow mnister for Small Business and Fair Trading.

Cancer Council NSW Ambassador Lisa Li shared insights about the Cancer Council’s work and expressed gratitude for the long-standing support provided by the International Business Club of Australia.
Representatives from key sponsors, including Lady Pamela Super Yacht Club, ACY Securities, Fancee Car, Rex Opal Jewellery, AB MEDIA PTY LTD, Gu Yue Long Shan, Hainan Airlines, DooGroup, China Tea, and SKIMSTONE, introduced their companies and conveyed their support for the Cancer Council. Hainan Airlines, as a special honorary sponsor, donated a round-trip international flight from Sydney to Haikou as a prize for the charity raffle, highlighting their strong commitment to the cause.
The evening reached its peak with a lucky draw featuring a variety of exciting prizes, with sponsors drawing the winners and presenting the prizes. A birthday cake-cutting ceremony added a festive touch, further elevating the celebratory mood of the event.
